Bankfield Brae is a new housing development located within easy reach of Edinburgh’s city centre. It plays a pivotal role in the £200 million redevelopment of Craigmillar, a project that includes the new town centre and public spaces. MW Groundworks was contracted by Taylor Wimpey to shape the greenspace situated at the heart of this development, which was designed for the enjoyment of the wider public.
Our involvement in the Bankfield Brae project was instrumental in transforming the area. Our mission was to create an inviting, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing greenspace where residents and visitors could come together to enjoy the outdoors.
We installed wooden seating areas and pathways, surrounded by various shrubs, trees and wildflowers which added colour, vibrancy and ecological value to the area.
MW Groundworks recently completed the maintenance contract at Bankfield Brae, ensuring that the greenspace continues to thrive and meet the needs of the community.
